• Device information — browser type, platform, and PWA status for technical optimisation

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To verify payment and grant access to paid features
• To track your exam progress and provide personalised practice recommendations
• To send you important account notifications via WhatsApp (only with your consent)
• To improve our question bank and platform based on aggregate usage patterns
• To send article updates and exam tips via WhatsApp (only to users who have opted in)

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore database and Authentication), hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure in the asia-south1 region (Mumbai, India). We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• OTP-based phone authentication for account access
• PIN-based session security
• Server-side payment verification — paid status is never set by the client
• Firestore security rules restricting access to your own data only

4. WhatsApp Communications

We use the WhatsApp Business API to send you account-related notifications and educational content updates. By registering on RERAExam, you consent to receiving WhatsApp messages from us on the phone number you provide. You can opt out at any time by contacting us.

We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
